The IAHAIO (International Association of Human-Animal Interaction Organisations) White Paper outlining definitions and guidelines for animal assisted interventions and wellness of animals involved was endorsed by IAHAIO members in 2014, and has now been translated into several languages including French, German, Dutch and Polish. It is now also available in Romanian. This IAHAIO White Paper is an essential document for everyone involved in AAI, outlining best practice in the field.
